CARE FOR DOMESTIC HOUSEHOLD (CDH)

THE OBJECTIVES OF CDH:

• To equip FDWs with the generic skills to do basic housekeeping for living room, bedroom,bathroom, kitchen (indoor & outdoor), windows and laundry.
  

• To equip FDWs with safety and hygienic housekeeping techniques.
  

HOUSEKEEPING MODULE

• Housekeeping care techniques for living room, bedroom, dry and wet kitchen, bathroom
  

• Proper techniques and care for laundry from wet to dry
  

• Safety and proper techniques for window cleaning and high areas of reach.
  

SAFETY AND HYGIENIC TECHNIQUES MODULE

• Safety handling of electrical appliances at home
  

• Hygienic procedures in housekeeping
  

ASSESSMENT

Each trainee will undergo practicum assessment (1 HOUR) and she has to be able to adhere to 100% safety and hygienic procedures during the assessment.
