BASIC CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH (BCE)

THE OBJECTIVES OF BCE:

• To equip trainee with conversational English so as to enable her with better communication flow with her employer.
  

• To encourage trainee to be able to maintain a simple conversation
  

VERBAL COMMUNICATION MODULE

• Recognize and verbalize standard greetings, instructions, household vocabulary
  

• Recognise and verbalise feelings
  

The modules will include typical expectations from Singapore employers and will reinforce on the importance of right communication methods with their employers at all times.

ASSESSMENT

The trainee’s competencies will be assessed by Trainer and will be marked on a Competency Checklist to ensure completeness and adequacy of individual learning. The trainee will need to demonstrate her ability to hold a conversation smoothly.
