BASIC BAKING SKILLS (BBS)

THE OBJECTIVES OF BBS:

  • To equip trainee with the skills and knowledge to prepare for simple and common pastries in Singapore.

  • To equip trainee with the safety and hygienic techniques from preparation to end product.

  • To teach trainee a variety of pastries

SAFETY, HEALTHY AND HYGIENE MODULE

  • To educate on the safety precautions in dry kitchen

  • To instill the importance of 100% adherence to hygiene

  • To adopt healthier methodology and dishes in meal preparation

MEAL PREPARATION & OUTCOMES

  • Day 1 – Sponge/Butter Cake

  • Day 2 – Butter Cookies/Chocolate Cookies

  • Day 3 – Cupcake/Muffin

There will be no assessment but trainee will be assessed on every lesson on their safety and hygiene adherence

Course Duration:

12 hours
  • Safety, Healthy and Hygiene Module – 2 hours
  • Meal Preparation and Outcomes – 10 hours
